Formed in 2005, Madina Lake is comprised of twin brothers in vocalist Nathan and bassist Matthew Leone (ex-The Blank Theory), guitarist Mateo Camargo and drummer Daniel Torelli.
The band signed with Roadrunner Records in August 2005, and released their debut EP The Disappearance of Adalia on August 22, 2006. The band was granted permission by Roadrunner to release the six track disc independently. The EP is available at their live shows or online at smartpunk.com or interpunk.com, as well as digitally via iTunes, Napster and Rhapsody.
The band's debut album From Them, Through Us, To You is set for release on March 27, 2007. It was originally slated for an August 2006 release. The album was produced, engineered and mixed by Mark Trombino.
Madina Lake was one of the support acts for Paramore on their 2006 fall UK tour, and they recently completed a tour with The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. They are currently on a month-long UK tour with Gym Class Heroes this February, and a US tour with Halifax is scheduled to be starting in March.
Madina Lake currently has its music video for One Last Kiss playlisted on the playlist of UK Rock Channel Scuzz and the music video for House Of Cards playlisted on UK Rock Channel Kerrang TV.
