Hailing from St. Louis, MO, Calico System delivers an intricate and powerful blend of melody, metal, punk, emo and rock, breaking away from a "set in stone" or "typical" sound, and exploring many musical avenues, making them one of the most truely versatile bands around.
Forming in the summer of 1997, CS finally solidified their line-up two years ago. Since then, they have went on to release two independent EP's and complete a number of independent tours. Calico System has continued to move forward at an unstopable pace knowing that hard work and determination are the only true ways one can obtain their goals. Such has gained them supporting spots for such bands as: Hatebreed, Poison the Well, Dredg, Codeseven, God Forbid, This Day Forward, Hopesfall, Finger Eleven, Candiria, Open Hand, and many others.
Now Calico System charges ahead winning people over not only with their music, but with their intense live show and positive attitudes. Having recently signed with Miami based Eulogy Recordings, CS will be releasing their first full-length album due out August 2003, and will be touring full-time across the US.
